COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our take on the classic American pale ale. We use lightly roasted caramel malts to provide a pleasant mouth feel to accompany the citrus and tropical American hops we add. The hop additions are all made very late in the boil process to ensure a clean and refreshing finish. This beer pairs well with an afternoon by the pool in the company of friends and family.

8 Mar 2014, tap at Helm's Brewing. Dark yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sugary granola. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Grassy hops up front but sugary granola in the background. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BMan1113VR (7787) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 22, 2012
On tap. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are bready, grainy, medium citrus, mild esters, inoffensive, but pretty generic and bland. Flavors are clean, inoffensive, very, very mild citusy character, biscuity grain, graham cracker, light spicy hop. Almost closer to a blond ale than a pale ale at this point. Lively bubbles with a dry finish and a medium-light body.

brokensail (9921) - Orange County, California, USA - DEC 12, 2012
Pours a clear golden orange color with a white head. Fairly sweet aroma, mostly of citrus. Some bread, apple, and a light celery note. Some floral, pine, and grass notes, too. The flavor is somewhat sweet. Bread and citrus flavors, a mild bitterness of pine, some grass, and a light apple ester quality.
