Our red India pale ale is a sterling example of excess. We use copious amounts of both malts and hops to create this decidedly bitter yet curiously balanced beer. As its namesake implies it is more than capable of overloading the unsuspecting pallet just with a lot less mutton chops and frock coats. Big caramel, big malts and even bigger resinous citrus hop flavor and aroma. This beer pairs well with BBQ, Curry, Spicy foods and pungent cheeses.

22 oz bottle poured in my hotel room (purchased at the brewery). Pours reddish brown with a beige head; good lacing. Smells like pine and cascade hops (I think). Taste is bitter. It gets its name honestly. Hops for days. Good beer.

Had this before at a bar in Los Angeles so was already familiar. Bold beer with a great hop and malt balance. Two thumbs up

This was probably my favorite in my flight. It is kind of hard to explain and I kept going back for more to explore this beer. Ended up buying a bottle. At first yogurt great aroma, then it gets very malty with lots of caramel. Then it finishes hoppy again. Pretty cool

Grain like aroma with some skunk weed. Lobelia to be exact. Cloudy pillow head which subdued aroma. Flavor lean and somewhat harsh. Finish just plain bitter.

Clear deep dark Amber with a small cream hued head. The nose is a bit marijuana-ish with a load of rye and earthy orange citrus. Bitter tone with a mellow flavor of rye, dank hops, a bit of orange peel and peppery bread. Not shabby but a wee touch too peppery and bitter.
