It poured a hazy dark brown liquid with a big light brown foam. It had a fairly weak smell of malt, caramell and wood. It had a similar taste of malt, fudge and caramell. It had a medium smooth mouthfeel with just a bit of stingyness. The body was light and a bit watery. Lacks some taste which draws down the points but still not a bad beer.

(On tap) Clear orangey brown with a tall, dense, beige head leaving laces. Clean, roasted malt aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt and a whiff of flowery hops. Light bitterness in the finish. Clean and pleasant. 190908

(Draught at MacKinlay’s, Stockholm, 17 Nov 2007) Dark brown colour with firm beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark rye bread and bread spices. Malty taste with dark rye bread, dried fruit, prunes, chocolate and hints of spicy hops in the finish. Not very bitter though. Medium body, nice balance. Nice beer, probably a bit better than a couple of years ago.

Dark brown body and a tan on the head. Aroma is hard to find but I sense some sweet burnt malt. Flavor is little hopy and burnt sugar.
