It poured a hazy brown liquid with a medium sized light brown foam, that left lots of lacing. It had a sweet smell of malt, smoke, wood and some sourness. It tasted similar of malt, smoke and wood, no sourness though. The mouthfeel had some sting to it and it had a medium body.

Draught at Glenfiddish Warehouse, Stockholm. Hazy brown body with a medium off white head. Lots of caramel with some smoke notes. Sweet malty flavour with notes of caramel and smoke. Nice balance.

Cask at SMÖF -08. Dark amber with a medium tan head.Malty and smokey notes. Malt, bittterness and smoke.Medium body with a dry, smokey finish.

Draught at Glenfididch Warehouse. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized and lacing off white head. The aroma is dominated by malts and grain with notes of smoke. Smoked flavour of malts and caramel with notes of hay and hops. Smoked finish.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. Amber to mahagony color with good creamy head. Strong smoky, woody and leathery aroma. Sweetish, tarry and smoky flavor with maltiness and bitterness in the background. Few years back this was slightly smoky but now the smokiness is surprisingly firm, nice.

(On tap) Pours a clear warm orangey brown with a neat, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and a light smoky whiff. Medium body with lightly sweet roasted malt and discreet smoky accents. Lightly bitter finish. Well crafted, but perhaps the smoke is a little too downplayed. 190908

Clear dark brown color, big fluffy tan head. Clear but faint smoke scent, also malty. Smoke and malty taste, a bit roasted and metallic aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, dry medium bitterness.

Draught at SMÖF-08. Hazy copper with medium beige head. Sugary malt aroma with a mild smoked manure touch. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Sweet with low bitterness.
