Comments: Draught at Glenfiddich 68. Not too aggressive, low ABV. Rather full-bodied with a fair amount of minerals. Mostly noble hops. Okay stuff, I expected a bit better I must say: almost metallic, very malty IPA, yet dry palate.
anders37 (2563), Malmö, Sweden Jul 1, 2007 Draught @ Glennfidich Warehouse, Stocholm. Pour a hazy amber color with an off-white head. Fruity malty slightly hoppy aroma. Sweet malty fruity and hoppy flavor. Sweet malty finish with a slighlty bitter aftertaste. lagomswedish (206), Umeå, Sweden Apr 5, 2007 Draught at Glennfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm. A great take on the APA style, pulling up a hazy amber with a huge creamy head. In fact it took almost five minutes to pour and settle - but thankfully it was worth the wait. Although I thought the aroma was a little light this beer packs loads of hoppy fruit into every mouthfull. Sweet upfront, with a fruity middle bleeding out into a slightly metallic, medium-bitter finish. What makes this beer stand out for me is that it delivers the hops without the cloying sweetness of many APAs I’ve had - and at 4.7% it’s a fantastic guzzler that in my book rates over many of its more extreme cousins. oh6gdx (5741), Vaasa, Finland Mar 14, 2007 Draught. Reddish amber colour, huge fluffy head, leaves lace. Aroma is hops, sweet malts and big grassyness, All in a good balance. Flavour is dry fruits, hops, toffee and some roast.
