Svesse (4397) - Hässelby, - MAR 12, 2006
(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm, Mar 11) Brown/orange colour, very hazy, almost muddy actually. Lots of aroma hops and fruit in the nose (blood oranges, grapefruit). Taste is fruity, spicy and hoppy with a musty, yeasty character. Long, bitter finish. I wouldn’t call it a looker, but taste is very nice.

Comments: Draught at Glenfiddich 68. Not too aggressive, low ABV. Rather full-bodied with a fair amount of minerals. Mostly noble hops. Okay stuff, I expected a bit better I must say: almost metallic, very malty IPA, yet dry palate.

lagomswedish (213) - Umeå, SWEDEN - APR 5, 2007
Draught at Glennfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm. A great take on the APA style, pulling up a hazy amber with a huge creamy head. In fact it took almost five minutes to pour and settle - but thankfully it was worth the wait. Although I thought the aroma was a little light this beer packs loads of hoppy fruit into every mouthfull. Sweet upfront, with a fruity middle bleeding out into a slightly metallic, medium-bitter finish. What makes this beer stand out for me is that it delivers the hops without the cloying sweetness of many APAs I’ve had - and at 4.7% it’s a fantastic guzzler that in my book rates over many of its more extreme cousins.

[On draught at Glennfidich Warehouse, Stockholm] Hazy orange colour with a big creamy head. Good malty, caramelly aroma and wonderfully hopped, that adds a touch of tropical fruits and light citrus. Very round mouthfeel with perfect hop balance. I would never have guessed it’s as low as 4,7%. Is it still?

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm, 2007-05-08, 7-4-8-5-15=39
Hazy amber color; creamy head; nice lace. The fruity aroma vanishes quickly, leaving a very nice note of toffee. Medium body structure, good malt taste with loads of caramel, and a very good and strong hopping, aromatic, a bit resiny. Maybe too bitter at the end.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm, 2006-03-13, 9-5-7-4-14=39
Beautiful amber color; big head. Wonderful fruity aroma. The flavor is not up to expectations: thin, without resins and fruitness, only bitterness.
