Slight haze. Straw colour. Thick head. Big herbal hop aroma with a pleasant lemony signature. Dry, herbal, slightly fruity character with a delicious pale malt signature and just a touch of yeast.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, hazy, stable and lacy white head, moderate, very aromatic hoppy and sweet-malty nose, solid dry bitter flavour, light bodied; dry hoppy finish, completed by a certain fruitiness and a small amount of balancing pale malt. A superb franconian Lager, the real thing......

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Distinctively citric and herbal hoppy aroma with lemony, even zesty notes, reminding me of an IPA. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Dry pale malt character with loads of fruity and slightly herbal hops; dry and moderately bitter fruity hoppy and slightly zesty finish. A very aromatic Pilsener, really superb. 28.X.11

Draft @ Die Frankisches Bierfest 09. Hazy yellow, scant but tight white head. Nice kellerbier aroma with nice orange pith hoppiness and yeast. Granular body. Lemon notes. Not super hoppy. Having said that, the sweet grain is excellent and the crisp finish indicates a judiciously hopped beer. Am really liking this new brewery...
