Bottle. The aroma of fresh gras, malty-sweet, some grains, not really alcoholic. The small white creamy-fizzy head has a short duration, the body is pale yellow. The taste is nice malty, later it gets a little bit bitter. The body is medium strong and creamy with a soft carbonation. A good Maibock.

I found this one beginning 2012 in a northern german beershop. Normally you can get Maibock around May, this one I found end of january. I was really surprised, 10 € for 30 bottles 0,3 liter, very cheap but a really good one. Hemelinger comes from Bremen (Becks InBrev), they have a big tradition. It is not so strong like the market leader from Einbeck, this one has 6.9% alc, and taste just good.

0.33l bottle from Hol’Ab! in Winsen an der Aller, Germany. Pours gold with an aroma of grassy lemony hops, nice dry-bitter body with enough chewy, faintly fruity, malt to balance the hops and the alcohol. A good warming and drying alcohol and bitter aftertaste with a long gentle bitter-hoppy finish.
