3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle with lunch at DLG Feldtage, Magdeburg. Golden orange with big white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat and yeast. Some banana and clove in the flavor plus the same notes as in the nose. Decent but not too exciting.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5 l bottle. Pours hazy light orange, foamy white crown. Starts a little bit musty, light grapefruit, a little bit banana and hints of yeast. Nuts and vanilla with sweet citrus in the middle, low herb. Nothing unusual but a drinkable low price standard regional Weizen for everyday.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle, Hol’ Ab Bad Harzburg. "Exklusiv gebraut und abgefüllt in Hannover für Getränke Ahlers (...) Bremen", maybe even brewed by Wolters in Braunschweig like other Hemelinger? Cloned Weizen from the North, chucking everything in that belongs in a Weizen (Gersenmalz, Weizenmalz, Hopfen) and that doesn’t (Hopfenextrakt), making for a very anorganic drinking experience: isolated cloves, banana notes, cardboard and chemical apple, made unenjoyable by an icky aspartame palate. I’d imagine this would go well with that first test-tube hamburger.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5 l bottle kindly shared by beer pals Tania and Andreas at Cardinal. Pours hazy golden with a big creamy white head. Aroma is strong spicy, cloves and banana as well. Taste is light sweet banana, high carbonated, light harsh caramel malts, weak cloves. OK

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5 l bottle kindly shared by my beer pals Tania and Andreas. Pale hazy golden body with a small white head. Lovely yeasty grainy ripe banana on the nose. Good malty and aromatic mouth that’s moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Smoothish to drink. Pretty decent weizen.

Shared 500 ml green bottle. Brewed in Hannover for Ahlers Getränke. ABV is 5.5%. Cloudy golden colour, large white head. Strong citrussy / lemony aroma, hardly any notes of banana and cloves. Citrussy flavour too, fairly dry, moderate notes of cloves.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
It smells fruity and sweet, also some grapefruit. The medium large head is creamy and white with a normal duration. The body is cloudy and orange. The taste is light fruity, a little bit dull. The finish is light bitter and dry. The body is very creamy, light to medium strong with a normal carbonation.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Green bottle, strange. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts intense, yeasty, modest fruity-moldy like old apple. Finish more sweet, less yeasty, fruity aftertaste. Quite drinkable. Okay.
