Don’t remember how I got the bottle, probably a gift. Strong smell of green apples, also some herbal aromas. Strong taste of dried herbs, overpowering and hard to get through. Harsh mouthfeel, very hard to drink. I couldn’t drink this. Absolutely horrible.

Pours clear golden color with a minimal head. Aroma of herbs, mild pale malts, some dried fruits and some faint hemp. Flavour of fruits, tomatoe!, hay and malts. Mildly bitter, slick palate. Quite unique.

33cl bottle. Clear and golden with small or no head. Nose : becaise of almost no head, the aromas are low but mostly citrus, some strawberry, pineapple and apple. Very fruity. Little malt nose, some tart. Sip : decent carbonation, thin body and texture is watery. Sweet with dry, skunky favor. The flavors of fruits are dominated by citrus. The aftertaste is bubblegum and bitter hops. Overall it’s a refreshing beer with a very bad balance and too thin body. OK.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2012 0.33 bottle. Nice golden color, slightly darker than a casual lager, a big white head on top, though its retention is average. Taste is grassy, rather diluted and imprecise, somewhat sour. Aroma is strong and unlike any I have felt before. Sour and sweet at the same time, mostly hop but with a lot of spices and some maltiness on the side. A tad citrus, hay and green pepper as well as the unmistakeable cannabis fragrance. Body is light, texture thin but creamy at the same time. Carbonation to my surprise was soft. Finish is rich and slightly sweet, tastes of fruits, some vegetables and I think cannabis. If I was to ever eat hemp it would probably taste like that. All in all the beer is not great, nothing worth exhilaration but the fact that it’s made of hemp is exciting.

Erst mein zweites Hanfbier. Es riecht auch direkt nach dem öffnen, stark grasig-hanfig aber angenhem. Im Glas entsteht wenig Schaum. Es schmeckt grasig und nach abgelaufenem Gemüse => interessant. Fazit: Sehr hanfiges und grasiges Hanfbier, stärker als beim anderen aber auch nicht wirklich besser, mittelmaß. Test vom 3.10.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,7,8,13,8 - 8,05

Hemp beer bought in prague. surprisingly boring. taste of German lager with a touch of apple (but good creamy foam)

Relativ herber Antrunk mit leichter hintergründiger Gewürzigkeit. Das Bier wird nun rasch bitter, der Hintergrund hat nun nichts mehr zu bieten und wird wässrig. Während sich die Bitterkeit weiter ausbreitet scheint das Hanf zumindest leichte Spuren zu hinterlassen, allerdings wirken auch die bitter und sind so nur unscharf erkennbar. Kenderes sör hmm, ez is csak akkor tűnt fel, mikor ránéztem ivás közben az italra. Klasszik arany szín és nem valami kitartó hófehér hab. Illata enyhén malátás és zöldséges. Az ízében, mintha tényleg lenne valami fura, de lehet csak bebeszélem magamnak, miután elolvastam az üvegen, hogy mit is iszom. De tulajdonképpen egy vékonyka, semmi extra sör, na de hát egyszer ezt is ki kellett próbálni...

on tap in Czech Beer Museum. Popular weird beer with hemp. Nothing special but the feeling of drinking hemp beer is interesting. Grassy taste, golden color, bitter taste with hints of fruits and hemp.
