Clear golden beer; huge yellowish tinted head. Greenery nose (bit like the greenery one cuts from the top of carrots), crystal & pale malts, grain. Starts with sharp vegetable/roasted malts taste, definitely some hops, but then the beer drops dead, leaving just a faint hoppy (hempy?) bitterness. At every new sip a strange tobacco/smoked flavour resurfaces, immediately fading again, making way for the bitterness. Light body, sharp MF, not very lively. Finally, a sweet-bubblegum aftertaste. From all hemp-added beers tried sofar, this is the... euhh... least uninteresting. But whatever extra hemp brings, remains a mystery. It’s all in the mind...

Erst mein zweites Hanfbier. Es riecht auch direkt nach dem öffnen, stark grasig-hanfig aber angenhem. Im Glas entsteht wenig Schaum. Es schmeckt grasig und nach abgelaufenem Gemüse => interessant. Fazit: Sehr hanfiges und grasiges Hanfbier, stärker als beim anderen aber auch nicht wirklich besser, mittelmaß. Test vom 3.10.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,7,8,13,8 - 8,05

Hemp beer bought in prague. surprisingly boring. taste of German lager with a touch of apple (but good creamy foam)

Relativ herber Antrunk mit leichter hintergründiger Gewürzigkeit. Das Bier wird nun rasch bitter, der Hintergrund hat nun nichts mehr zu bieten und wird wässrig. Während sich die Bitterkeit weiter ausbreitet scheint das Hanf zumindest leichte Spuren zu hinterlassen, allerdings wirken auch die bitter und sind so nur unscharf erkennbar. Kenderes sör hmm, ez is csak akkor tűnt fel, mikor ránéztem ivás közben az italra. Klasszik arany szín és nem valami kitartó hófehér hab. Illata enyhén malátás és zöldséges. Az ízében, mintha tényleg lenne valami fura, de lehet csak bebeszélem magamnak, miután elolvastam az üvegen, hogy mit is iszom. De tulajdonképpen egy vékonyka, semmi extra sör, na de hát egyszer ezt is ki kellett próbálni...

on tap in Czech Beer Museum. Popular weird beer with hemp. Nothing special but the feeling of drinking hemp beer is interesting. Grassy taste, golden color, bitter taste with hints of fruits and hemp.

Bottle bought at the brewery shop. Light yellow with a small head. Aroma moderate malty (caramel) and heavy spicy (cannabis). Flavor moderate to heavy spicy, very special. Medium body. Interesting and very special.

(Bottle 0,33l) Herbs, spicy, flowers, grass aroma. Clear golden color. Medium white head. Herbs, dust, grassy taste. Light bitter, astringent dry finish.

0,33 l bottle from Billa, Prague. Pours weak golden with a thin white head, highly carbonated. Sour/sweet fruity aroma. Weak sweet malty taste, some dark fruits, gets hoppier and nice bitter towards the end.
