2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 EithCubes (4233) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2012
Swing-top bottle by 14.05.2012. Sweet, very rich caramel nose, light booze mingling also with dense fruit. Ruby-chestnut body with a rocky tan head. Taste is very surprisingly very dry, super dry; has a rubbery-astringent edge rather than hop bite. Roast with caramel, light bitterness seems more pronounced with no sweetness, even has some hay and wilder leanings. Soft and creamy light-medium body, much of the joy of drinking such a well-crafted brew drained by its sheer, unredeemed brutality.
