Draft at the brewery. Head is fully lasting. Body is cloudy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a note of banana, light notes of pepper and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A decent, clean rendition. Not all that exciting, but pretty well made.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! The beer starts smooth and fresh. Easy to drink with mild yeast. Slightly grainy, very mild. No bitterness at all, tastes a bit neutral. The body is also nearly flat-neutral, not much carbonation, not much aroma. Smooth yeast without clove or banana. Just yeast, The aftertaste is smooth and neutral, hints of sweetness. Strange brew!

draft at Hennemann in Sambach. cloudy light golden wheat body with a creamy white head. banana candy and perfumed clove ester-heavy nose with touches of light white pepper and sweet muffin/pastry with more minor potato starch and bubble bath notes, though all-together it’s very bright and fresh smelling. medium-light body, mostly dry, lightly starchy / prickly mouthfeel. citrus zest acids are enjoyable and the carbonation is soft. it opens up with more lemon juiciness in the nose which is quite enjoyable. overall a very soft, very well-made weizen.

(swing top bottle, purchased at the brewery) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Wheaty and overripe fruity aroma of banana and peaches, accompanied by mildly phenolic spices. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Fruit-accented and moderately wheaty taste with a tinge of cara-malt; moderately sweet and slightly vinous-fruity finish. Atypical but nevertheless aromatic and pleasant Weizen. 27.X.11

It’s unclear, dark golden with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of yeast, banana and wheat. The sweet flavour has notes of banana, yeast, wheat, the finish is nice and spice, and it’s all in all a very well-balanced beer.

1000 ml bottel in Germany as a gift from a friend. Pours a hazy golden with a neat, creamy head and a distinct yeast sediment. Nice, lightly sweet banana aroma. Medium-bodied with soft, wheaty notes, some yeast and sweet banana notes. Very soft and pleasant palate.
