Süffiger und vollmundiger Antrunk mit hefigen und würzigen Malznoten, letztere angenehm süß. Stimmig, passend hopfig, ausgewogen. Sogar minimal rauchig in der Süße. 8/11/11/11//11

Tap at the brewery. Woodbeam aroma. Orange amber creamy head. Woodsmoke fruit and grassy hops wonderfully balanced. Medium body sparkly, dry on palate. Moreish!

Draught at the brewpub. Weak salami aroma. Clear chestnut colour. Small tan head. Good malty flavour, nicely smoked. Flavourful, but very well-balanced. Excellent.

Cloudy deep amber with a medium off white head. Aroma had smoke, roasted malt and ham. Smoked flavour with roasted malt, caramel, bacon and ham. Finished smoked.

Clear medium amber color with a average, creamy to rocky, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, smoke - rubber, peat notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, chimney soot. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100402]

Golden-amber colour. All smoke in the aroma - delicious. Clean, breadcrusty malt body with a solid smoke balance. Lip-smacking.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy nut brown, small head. Careful beechwood smoke. Mid-sweet, medium bodied, rounded mouthfeel. The beechwood smoke is evident, but not overpowering. Finishes with low bitterness while remaining drinkable and pleasant all the time.

Draft @ brewpub. Deep amber color with nice off-white head. Minerals and smoke predominate in the aromas. Quaffable palate. Sweet malts and sugars linger on the tongue. Mild smoke with minerals coming out a lot, drying the finish. Smoke is subtle, too subdued for me. Nice beer.
