2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Shakesbeere (194) - Oxford, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2010
Aroma is an amalgam of sweet and sour apples with a hint of tart apple peel. Taste is similar. Dry with a tart finish. It was all right, but I’m only sure of its superiority to Strongbow.

Bottle. Pour was medium clear golden with a granny smith aroma. Flavors were medium sweet with more granny smith and a little apple peel tartness in the finish. Decent cider with some slight alcohol in the finish. Still a bit sweet, but ok.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2010
Bottle from Tesco Extra, Aylesbury, consumed 24.08.10 Pours mid gold some light carbonation. Steady fruity (sweetish) appley nose with a bit of cheddar cheese as well. Taste is certainly medium sweet, but pretty decent. A touch tangy & tart and a little tiny bit dry towards the end, but the sweetness also lingers. There is no denying that this isn’t in Olivers or Gwatkin territory its does seem to have that slight feel of the next notch up in terms of scale of production, but I like it. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Enniskillen (2008) - Salinas, California, USA - AUG 7, 2010
Gold with a quickly dissapating white head. Aroma is sweet red apples, light alcohol. Taste is a bit too alcoholic- in a harsh way, seems almost like a cheap cider in some aspect but a nice one in others- the apple sweetness is nice though.
