Bottle from Sainsburys Clapham. Clear amber, no head, medium to light carbonation. Nose is light apple juice, apple vinegar, and a very dry pungent apple mustiness. So dry it really catches the throat. Taste is a very dry fairly monotone apple cider. Nice balance, and not too sweet. Just very dry and straightforward simple cider.

As pictured, from Tesco. Lager gold with a short-lived fizz of head. Promising aroma with yeasty, mouldering fruit and calamine suggestions. Bit of a watery feel beyond; obvious alcohol; rubber and white wine hints; sourness more than dryness in a limp and fleeting finish. Will tip some- more out of boredom than revulsion.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Apple juice colour. Slightly sour apple nose. Sweet background, slightly sour and a little woody in the mouth. Quite an interesting cider, better than much of the mass produced sweet stuff, although not sure it was quite my thing.

An enjoyable change up from Magner’s. A bit more acidic to me, but perfectly drinkable. Still, far from the best cider I have had.

Could have sworn this was oaked but checked their website and they do not mature in oak. Rivals Aspall Dry but does not surpass. Strong taste of real apples and not artificial slush like most so called ciders. No added sugar after fermentation according to them and no reason to doubt that. This is very fine cider indeed.

Gold, a few bubbles cling to the rim. Aroma of tartish and very English apples, a little cheese. Light bodied. Slightly sweet apples and their skins, no cooked apple flavour. A little acidic and quite dry at the end. Quite OK.

500ml Bottle. The nose is of ripe yellow/red apples with a hint of cinemon and I think anothor spice - maybe cloves?? It pours how a cider should, a golden amber with a full but quickly disapating head. The taste is almost pure apple juice passing through quite heavy carbonation with spices to a very long dry finish. Not my favourite cider but a decent effort.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours shiney gold with a fading white head. Highly effervescent. Has a kind of pukey apple nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some nice dried apples, mild must. Light to medium bodied with average, crisp carbonation. Pretty dry on the finish, some musty apples, a bit of dankness, light fruity sugars. Dry teeth in the aftertaste. Decent cider.
