Henneys Dry Cider is our best selling cider. Smooth, light and refreshing.
Sweet, appley aroma. Palate has a delicious bittersweet apple character with some spicy bite and a bit of a tannic grip. Very fruity and quite pure, with a nice savoury twist.

50 cL clear bottle. Pours golden yellow with a small to fully gone head. Aroma is slight sulphorish and dry apple aroma. Sweet flavoured with a genuine sulphorish note and vague butterish touch (!?!). Authentic dry apple flavoured finish.

Bottled. A dark golden cider. The aroma has notes of ripe apples and a bit of apple cores. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples, apple cores, and a bit of vinegar, leading to a dry and somewhat tart finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a small dissipating white head. Tart apple aroma. Medium body, an initial apple sweetness but then comes quite some tartness and sulphur. Ends almost astringent. 170212

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours shiney gold with a fading white head. Highly effervescent. Has a kind of pukey apple nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some nice dried apples, mild must. Light to medium bodied with average, crisp carbonation. Pretty dry on the finish, some musty apples, a bit of dankness, light fruity sugars. Dry teeth in the aftertaste. Decent cider.

500ml bottle from Tesco. I wouldn’t disagree with anything that has been said by the other reviewers, but ultimately I did not like this. Golden colour with bubbly white head. Not keen on the aroma that does have apples but also nail varnish too. OK in mouth, but I’m not a fan of the underlying sweetness. Apple and wood finish, that is also acidic and dry. Perhaps I wasn’t in the best of moods due to the fact that I drank this whilst my train was delayed by over an hour by a tree on the line, but still, I wouldn’t have this again

Bottle. Almost clear, golden in color, with some bubbles on top. Quite rustic aroma with apples and some barnyard hints. The flavor has a little acidity, but it’s mostly semi sweet apples. A touch of caramel sweetness too. Medium body. A quite pleasant one, although not as dry as I’d like a dry cider to be. 120217
