COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an American Amber Ale - rich and enjoyable with its carmel and toffee sweetness that is balanced by a subtle aroma and a complimentary flavor of hops. Amber Apparition pairs well with delicate seafoods, poultry dishes and salads.

Pours a three finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Nice crystal clear ruby/amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Light pine nose, flavor is a balance of caramel and pine hops. $6.99 for a 22oz bottle from Market Basket Concord. NH.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2013 I had this again and decided I needed to revisit my review. I got a lot more flavor than I did before. Bubble gum smell and a hint of this in the taste. It was a lot more flavorful this time around.

22 oz bottle. Pours a medium brown with a lot of garnet highlights. One finger beige head that quickly recedes leaving no lace. Nice malty sweet aroma with a likewise malty sweetish flavor. A flash of hop bite sporadically shows itself, but never for long. Kind of reminds me of an Irish Red. Full, smooth palate. Easy to drink.

I am always trying to find good beers from NH, not an easy task but this beer is the real deal. I am usualy an IPA drinker but this beer is an exception, it’s so drinkable and every sip leaves me wanting more. Amber Apparition has good color, great taste, it’s well filtered, but above all I cant stop drinking it.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 Pours a deep garnet brown color with a smallish khaki head that that quickly dissipates to a cap on top. Smells of caramel and toffee with a hint of earthy citrus hops. The flavor is English inspired with a lightly chalky sulfur and caramel toffee maltiness with hints of earthy spicy hops that barely provide balance. Is that a bitter butterscotch I am getting in the flavor? Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. A new NH brewery and I sooo wanted to be blown away. This one is OK, but really nothing special.

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is a handsome looking medium amber with a long lasting head. The aroma is very typical for the style with sweet malts, yeast, and nuts. Hop aroma played down. The body is medium and acidic. There is a lot to like in the taste with sweet malts ending with a low hop bitterness. It really fits the amber ale style in a straight forward way and is fairly easy to drink but it is basically indistinguishable from others in its class.

Pours a rich red amber color. Has a decent nose of heavy caramel and toffee. Over all a pretty boring amber rendition. Doubtful I will bother to pick this up again.
