Bottle in Greece.
Pale yellow. Fine example of a German pilsener, clean, crisp, light body. Lovely herbal bitter finish.

Good pils. Eays to drink with a slight bitterness. (Not too hoppy though). Also a beer that can be found for a great deal 16oz cans 6-pack for under $5. Good all year round.

Draft: this one came out looking awfully nice. Big huge meringue like white head atop a light golden yellow body. Flavor was mostly bitter hops and somewhat herbal. Light carbonation coming from the tap due, I assume, to the big head. A very nice pilsener I think.

Bottle in Crete. Pours clear straw colured with a huge rocky white head. Aroma of sweet malts and dusty hops. Taste is weak bitter, with the malts in front, quite a good surprise in Greece.

Can@Hotel, brewed by Mythos, 5% ABV. Very floral aroma. Yellow, white head, fair lace. Very floral flavour as well, nice bitterness. Very refreshing and interesting.

Light yellow from the can, good head, nice lacing. Light aroma of wet hay. Gentle floral hops intermingle with a clear pilsner malt body. Not sophisticated or complicated, but enjoyable, better IMHO than some other raters have made it out to be. Perhaps I was influenced by downing this after having finished yard work in 90+ degree weather, but it hit the spot.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2005
Tap: Interesting drink. It poured a clear yellow color with a frothy white head. The aroma was caramel and toffee with fresh apples and just a hint of floral/herbal hopping. This was extremely soft in the mouth, quite befitting its flavor. The caramel turned toffee sweet and buttery. The apple taste increased. There was only a dollop of hop bitterness, although it grew somewhat in the finish. Not much of a pilsener, but enjoyable.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2007 Aus der flasche @ Kakadu Australian bar & café, Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany (July 2006). This place, highly recommended for their feeds four, single serve hamburgers (these boys were HUUGE!!!), and a few Frankfurten biers, yet oddly no Aussie ’Ocker’ tucker and no Aussie brews. Where’s the Cooper’s?? Back to the beer. This was served up in its own tall pilsner glass. Sparkling in the mid-afternoon sun, heaving fine carbonation through its noticeably light golden tinged straw body. Head a mere fluff of bubbles, over an inch thick, I thought if the wind were to suddenly pick up it may become airborne. It held, even laced well, a mucky drabby length it was. There is a whiff of fruit tinged honey on the nose, easily floral, sweet and fragrant. The bouquet hit a wall when it came to tasting it. The tickle of carbonation saw the tip of the tongue numb on first sip but there was no denying the presence of alpha acids - this beer was unexpectedly bitter, big bitter, good old fashioned bitter from beers that are just raw with grassy, weedy hops. The malt starts to show after a few slow sips, a little sweetness even shines through like palest honey and again slightly pearish fruity. Bitter in length though it is short enough and crisp to keep it enjoyable. The body light, delicate but not prancing as it bubbled a stew exulting those hops, all-in-all managing to pull off a simple task of balance. This wasn’t too bad. Though not of Augustiner- or Fässla-like fame this weren’t too bad at all. Refreshing, palate cleansing and assertively bitter drop in the heart of Frankfurt. (33cL)

It is warm golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, light butterscotch and fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, fruit, light butterscotch and it is smooth and pleasant to drink.
