Thanks to KuntAlbert for a 330ml can of this one. Clear, light yellow content. Diminishing white head. Sweet and grainy nose. Faint taste of sweet corn with hints of vegetables. Lacking hops. Just about drinkable (hotel room, Oslo 27.09.2011).

Can 330ml from CarreFour, Patras
Clear golden color, good white head. Harsh, nasty grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Harsh, grainy malty flavor. Harsh finish. Very industrial feeling.

500 ml can, at Parga, Greece. Poured into a lager glass. ABV 5% Golden yellow colour on the body, with minimal activity in the glass. Two fingers of white, soapy head, with average retention and satisfying lacing left on the glass. Maltose and hints of apple smell on the aroma. Not bad, at least is different than all the other pale lagers of the market. Taste is indeed distinctive as the can says. Mildly sweet, turns fast to a nice bitterness, with medium duration. The maltose flavour is here again though but quite balance with the apple flavour nd it doesn’t annoy that much. Thin body, soft carbonation.Pleasant dryness on the palate. Overall a good beer, nice alternative to the wider available Amstel/Heineken.

Fairly widespread in Greece. Watery, sweet, grainy, standard cheap Greek fare, I can’t really tell the difference between all of these!

Can. Low quality lager that’s only appeal is that it is cheaper than Mythos.

Can from Crete supermarket. Golden with a white head. Aroma: bready pale malts. Taste: watery and thin, white bread, low salty bitterness. I can’t say for sure that this is the worst beer I had during the holiday, but it is the one I liked the least.

On tap at Scritto, on Syros, Greece. Probably this one, and not the pilsner. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of hemp, veggies, sweet fruity alcohol. Yuck. Flavour is somewhere in between a sweet Belgian blond ale and a lager, really bad stuff. Light-bodied. Couldn’t finish this.

Bottle@Crete. Golden color, white head. Some honey in the aroma. Vegetable broth flavor with a malty background. Light body, medium-low carbonation. Watery and not very good.

0,5l bottle. A clear golden lager with a good white head and soft carbonation. Soft hoppy aroma. The taste is slightly sweet. The finish is refreshing. A good lager.
