From a bottle. Pours a very clear pale yellow, almost no head, crisp but a bit bland, it’s OK.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 Pleasant beer which is cheaper than mainstream aussie lagers and better due to the hop character. Has a kind of virginal goodness and very nice on the tongue.

660mL bottle, poured into a craft beer glass. Mild aroma of wheat and leaves. Soft head, lasting not very long. Golden amber body translucent. Bitter, astringent and light taste. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall refreshing.

[I expect this is an existing HB brew, repackaged for the Australian market. A search online has not provided any information on this.] (bottle) Appearance is reasonable: clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma is OK with strong grassy hops. Palate is pleasant with light body and medium carbonation. Taste is understated but balanced with gentle biscuity malt and some modest hops for a delicate bitter finish. Overall a decent, refreshing but unexceptional pilsener.
