Bottle @ home. Clear a bit rusty orange color, full sized, fair to good lacing, decently lasting a bit rocky white head. Smell lightly malts, lightly fruity. Taste lightly malts, lightly fruits, a touch of bitter hops. Typical Belgian blond, nothing wrong with it, nice to drink once in a while but I find these beers not that interesting, mainly because there are some many of them and they don’t differ enough. Nonetheless a decent beer.

Bottled@HBF2013. Hazy goldeny yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruits, some toffee, mild spices and caramel malts. Flavour is herbal, fruity, some sweet malts, mild spices as well as quite big bitterness in the finish for being Belgian.

Great Belgian Ale. Nice and fresh aroma, little bit sweet in the first taste but ends quite dry. A lot of taste for a 6% blond beer.

Simple pleasant Belgian blond aroma. Undergrowthy, and a bit dry, but still with some sweetness. Slightly hazy pale orange, large white head. A touch plasticky malt profile. Pleasant Belgian blond, but uninspired. Quite an easy drinker.

(Bottled@HBF 2013) Hazy golden with a small, lacy head. Slightly acidic and stuffy nose with bisquity malt and lime fruitiness. Fruity flavor with caramely malt, yeast, and acidity. Medium body, soft and low CO2. Belongs to the dull, acidic blonde series, of which I’m not a big fan.

A very nice new beer. Dry, citrusy, with a little bit of a soapy and metallic aftertaste. Still, this easily rises to top third of Belgian ales.

A very well balanced new beer. Some bitterness but not overwelming. Very nice colour, perfect long lasting head. Not too strong which allow me to drink more than one. A beer which is for a wide range of people. Well done.

Aroma bit yeast, some fruit notes, sweet, malts.
Taste bit fruits (from hops), lightly bitter, sweet, malts, hops, light bitter ending.

I think this is a very nice good tasting beer. A touch of sweet taste when you put him against your lips, as the beer flows to the back of your mouth, the sweet touch gives way for a very aromatic hoppy bitterness, balanced and sticking for a long time in your mouth. Not too high in alcohol 6% which makes me able to have another one... and another one!!!
