Paljas blond is an unfiltered blond beer of 6%, with refermentation in the bottle. The use of some caramel malts gives a little sweet aroma and taste. The 4 different hops (Magnum, Styrian Goldings, Saaz and Kent) are giving a fresh aroma and a lot of taste.

Draught No head left over hazy yellow-orange beer. Sweet malts, honey, muesli. Again sweet, spiced-herbal... muesli with honey and dried apples. Sticky feel; medium bodied, and slick. Oh well. Not bad if you like sweet(ish).

Bottle. Pours a touch hazy golden appearance with a moderate sized off white head. Honeysuckle, pear, light banana, lily, somewhat floral nose. Some bubble gum in the mouth. Fairly high carbonation. Moderately fruity. Low to moderate sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Some grassy / herbal hops. A touch spicy. Not bad.

Bottle @ Craenenburg, Brugge. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of hops and touches of yeast. Sweetish, malty and fruity flavour, enhanced by bitter, hoppy notes and touches of citrus. Bitter and citric aftertaste. Well balanced and enjoyable.

Blonde dorée voilée, effervescence moyenne, col blanc moyen. Les malts sont vitre rattrapés par les quatre houblons qui donnent une très bonne amertume, légèrement fruitée et épicée.

Henricus’ first, since 2013. Off-white, stable, sticky head, cloudy peach blonde colour. Aroma of bread, green apple, pineapple, orange, young cheese, yeast, grassy hops (four varieties being used). Fruity yeasty taste with some citrus refreshment, bready and somewhat caramelly malts, slightly powdery mouthfeel, mild spiciness, mild herbal and peppery hop bitterness.

Bottle on the Hull ferry. Golden with a white head. Not an awful lot to this. A little spiciness and citrus hop notes. Pleasantly refreshing. OK.

Bottle 330ml at home, poured into a tulip. ABV 6% Pours a quite clear orange coloured beer, with two fingers of white froathy head on top, with okay retention, leaving a foam island on the surface and light lacing on the glass. Frutiy aroma but not so strong, with notes of peaches, apricot, some yeast on the back. Taste has some grains, yeast, sugar, again fruity notes of peaches and apricot, mildly bitter on the finish and on the aftertaste, with the bitterness lasting for quite long. Medium thin body. Average but lively carbonation. Nicely dry on the palate. A typical blond, very drinkable though.

Tap at Beer Passion 2014. Antwerp. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a light floral hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Quite refreshing with an unusual palate.
