Henry Weinhards Belgian Style Wheat

The comparisons to Fruit Loops are spot on. Not the greatest, but drinkable in small doses. I tasted it as a sample at the Portland Saturday Market and really liked it, then went out and bought a 12 pack. Mistake. Will not buy again.

Bottle... Poured orange with a huge head that dissipated immediately. Aroma of Hi-C juice and pretty much tasted like Hi-C Ecto Cooler juice with fermented yeast. That’s pretty much it, this beer does shame to the style.

Bottle: Lightly hazy orange amber color with light white head. The nose is citrusy with lots of orange and lemon notes. Plenty of vanilla and light malts. The flavor is bright with orange peel and coriander. Not enough esters or malt body to maintain this sham though. Comes across like a fruit beer with orange extract.

Fruit Loops beer!!! the summer wheat has been renamed to the Belgian style wheat. it tastes exactly like fruit loops. cheap, and quaffable during the more warmer days of the year.

I really like this beer, just to have around as an everday kind of session beer. has a kind of fruit loop cereal maltiness with a lot of orange rind and corriander dominating, light and refreshing on the palate
