2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 GlenT (6) - - NOV 20, 2012 does not count
Pretty much a bland session beer with a slight grassy flavor. It is a drinkable beer, but there are much better tasting session beers out there.

nice golden color, the brew has some barley malt in the flavor and finishes a bit dry after some sweetness. altogether represents the beers we (THOSE OF US) got tired of in America 10,20 AND MORE THAN 30 years ago.

Bottle. Light hazy pale golden with small sudsy white head. Nose is light sweet malts, cereal grain, grassy hops, toastier malts, lively. Flavor is more plastic-y upfront, dusty, grainy and musty bitterness. Nose showed slight promise, oh well.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 JoeAgain (66) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Made in Milwaukee despite the "Northwest" allusion, most likely by Miller.
Fair beer overall. Nice, Cascade hop nose. Nice fluffy yeast clouds that stay atop the beer to the very end.
I found the flavor rather dull considering how the nose started off. This beer reminds me of how Coors used to taste about 30 years ago!
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 cmonster (895) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 21, 2011
Watery orange with a short head. Not much but a pale lager on the nose. Corn upon corn, with a hint of orange. Sweet flavor. Light body and short finish.

New label, presumably the same awful taste. Sorry Mr. Weinhard, but I will not enjoy the remaining 11 bottles in this bargain case.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 22, 2011
Bottle purchased 02/01/2011 in Park City, Utah. Colour is light orange with minimal head. Nose: Chocolate strawberries!....in a blonde lager?? Rich caramel, some yeast mixed with sugars when swirled..slightest touch of lavender. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, light sour. Vanilla swirled in with malty entry. Void of citrus. Sugary tidal wave on exit. Bearable but when expecting a blonde lager, a sweet mess this one is....

12oz Bottle Pours out a crisp golden topped whit a white head. Aroma was of light toast malts, bread, and some light sweetness. Taste was pretty crisp, the bread malts was very present.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tmoreau (1623) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2010
12 oz. bottle poured to my trusty 1/2 pint taster with a clear, golden amber color, noticeable effervescence, modest, slightly off white, bubbly head foam, and clingy, ribbons and dashes of lacing. The aroma was typical, light, lager scent, light grain, light breadiness, a little fruit and a touch of sweetness. The flavor added some moderate hop bitterness with ampted carbonation, in a light body. Refreshingly sessionable. Not bad! I’ll settle for this over the macros any day. Cellared well for about 6 mos. with no discernible oxidation.
