Draft at Horse Brass Pub, Portland, OR. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweet malty grany aroma. The flavor is sweetish malty and slightly bready. Has a sweetish malty grany finish.

bhensonb (11056) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 5, 2007
Clean aroma of light grassy hop, backed by wheat or corn. A light amber color with a decent white head. Thinnish body. Starts lightly sweet, develops a stronger malt profile, finishes with a veg note, a light one, and about enough hop to leave some bitter. Crisp and refreshing it is, and not to be considered as mass produced Bud type.

Rich golden colour with a white head. Grassy and flowery nose over decent pale malt. Pretty full-bodied for the style, good maltiness and a crisp hop finish.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2007 [rerate needed] Slightly better than private reserve. Mild taste, quite bland. Probably the last Henry’s beer I’ll buy.

Bottle. Typical lager gold, lackluster white cap. Horrible rotten veggies aroma, really bad. Grainy with hints of sulfur. Drainpour.

Bottle courtesy of RiversideAK. Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells fruity, malty, earthy, citrussy with hints of biscuits. Tastes of toasted malt, oranges, lemons, some wheat, perfume. Full bodied and enjoyable.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is moderately hoppy (grapefruit, herbs), trace malt (toasted grain), with a note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic. Savvy brewers of swill have learned that they can appeal to pseudo beer geeks by upping the hops enough to cover up some of the glaring faults, and release it under a micro-ish brand name. And thus we have this little drain pour, whose hops at first mask the DMS stink in the aroma, but cannot help the foul and metallic aftertaste. Don’t be fooled. Shame on Full Sail for brewing this line of crap.

Bottle. Pours a light and fizzy gold with a medium white head. The aroma is light hops and tons of malt and corn. The beer was your basic Pale Lager but with a bunch of hops thrown in that made this beer decent. It was balanced and pretty easygoing. Not bad.

Northwest Lager------Clear light golden color with fleeting foam. Corn, white bread, salty, peppery aromas. medium body with average carbonation. Hominy, salt n’ pepper flavors with pale maltage, crisp finish---decent for the style
