thooper41 (322), Oregon, USA Jul 2, 2009 12oz bottle: Apperance is a golden brown with white head, aroma is bland of malt, flavor not much to write about slightly malt a little to much carbonation, pretty bland pale ale. GG (1481), NorCal, California, USA Jun 16, 2009 You’d think that by association alone, that the beer brewed by Full Sail would have something to it. Unfortunately, this is just another mass brewed pale ale, with nothing going for it.
The body is a clear golden color, short 1" white head which went away with as much as a whimper, and clear carbonation bubbles floating away. Aroma has a moldy grassy note (like lifing up the lid of the grass barrell after a few days fermenting), very light citrus notes and some bran cereal thing going on. Flavor is an okay balance of hops and malt, but it seemed so watered down it was barely noticeable. Palate seemed crazy carbonated. I suppose it’d do in a pinch, but if there are other options I’d seek them out. RareBreedTM (7), Hopkinsville, Kentucky, USA does not count May 23, 2009 Bottle - Not my favorite beer from the Henry Weinhard’s collection. My friend got me started with Private Reserve, but my favorite has to be the Blonde. The Blue Boar to me has a bitter taste. mmbt7 (26), Moorhead, Minnesota, USA Apr 14, 2009 A truly average beer, below average when compared to any decent Pale Ale. Better than Bud, but not by a wide margin. markas101 (469), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Apr 9, 2009 33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Pale yellow, skunky aroma in the bottle, balanced hop and malt with some pepper on the aftertaste. On sale for 50 cents a bottle, it’s pretty good, drinkable for a bbq. lipscomb216 (78), USA Mar 24, 2009 Oh man did I get fooled, thinking I was getting a nice pale ale for cheap. Ha. Headbanger (1355), Aurora, Illinois, USA Mar 4, 2009 12oz bottle 3/4/09 (Tukwila Trading Post)-Pours a clear golden body with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of skunk. Taste of slight hops and a little malt. This light bodied brew should not be put in a green bottle and I was expecting more from this beer. Ramenen (400), San Salvador, El Salvador Feb 26, 2009 Thanks to ghawner. Drank it at a beer session last nite. Truly forgettable beer. Very watery and tasteless.
