Just a lightly skunky aroma, so it must be a fresh bottle - not too long under the fluorescents. Why does Full Sail feel compelled to use a green bottle for this beer? The rest of the Henry’s line is in brown bottles, along with everything else from Full Sail. So why are they determined to make this beer smell like ass? Is it a passive-aggressive thing because they do not want to brew this beer? Is a a marketing thing, designed by somebody who doesn’t actually drink beer? Guys: Reduce your bottle SKUs. Lose the greenies. OK, back to the task at hand. I can pull some light bready notes out of the aroma, but the skunk foils everything else. Light body and carbonation. A bit of bread in the taste. Crisp and lightly bitter finish. Manages to taste like a watered down Pils, so basically, and APA for folks who really want to be holding a Bud Lite. riversideAK (2714), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 29, 2007 Was extremely skunked. More so than Heineken. That was the aroma. Flavor was skunk, with light hops, and a touch of bready malt. Light and thin. I bet it would taste better were it not extremely skunked. Oh well. JohnnyJ (1312), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 20, 2007 Pours a clear pissy color with very small fizzy white head. Light malt, cheap grain, a bit of citrus and hops, and piss. Not much like a APA, more like a cheap american macro. Not good. CasperQuaffer (142), Casper, Wyoming, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 11, 2007 Good toasty aroma. Color a slight reddish gold. Taste is decent citrus hops, lots of toast and ground grain taste. Mouth feel is unremarkable, but decent aftertaste. Better than mass produced beers, but a little less than a craft ale. mistersinalin (370), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Pretty smooth, not much taste. More like a lager than an ale. It was on sale, and I’m a sucker for a sale. I’ll say it is very drinkable. Nothing to write home about, but on a hot day, this is a great thirst quencher. cathcacr (588), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 16, 2007 Smells very grassy, not fragrant at all. Taste is quite bland, very light tasting and watery. Better than your average commercial brew. Skyview (4022), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 13, 2007 On tap at Pete’s Lair Tavern in Milwaukie, Oregon. Pours a clear light golden blonde brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. No lacing except for a thin white ring around glass top. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, some flowery hops and a touch of lemon zest. Taste is light bodied, well carbonated, a little gritty with flavors of light malt, and just barely any hop bitterness. Finish is a little gritty and hardy any aftertaste.
