COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light-bodied, aromatic, Irish-style specialty ale. Double-hopped with PAcific Northwest Cascade hops for the flavor and smoothness of a traditional ale without bitterness of heaviness.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2006 Very clear and pale yellow ... headless. Corny nose. Thin and watery texture. Malts were reminiscent of wet bread with honey and a little DMS on top. Ripe apple notes were nice, albeit subdued. No head, but rather carbonated mouthfeel ... a little chewy, too. Finish was dry and relatively lifeless. A few seconds later, in the aftertaste, some bitterness (with a hint of toast) surfaced. Not quite enough to balance things out, though. Yawn.

This one isnít bad for a cheap pale ale. It is just a hoppier version of the rest of the Miller line. Miller just does not make a good beer. I would not buy this unless I was forced to, but I will drink it at a part for free.

12oz bottle. Rating #159. Clear yellow/gold pour with a light white head. All skunk in the nose, it overpowers anything else that might have there. Flavor was the same, more skunk, why would a brewer use green bottles. (1539)

fucking green bottle. skunked as a mofo. clear, pale golden, head is white and creamy. aroma is of a black and white striped animal and iím not talking about a zebra. absolutely putrid. frankly i donít detect any ale-ish notes in this aroma at all. flavor has very mild but extremely stale citrus hop notes. thanks miller.

Metallic and thin, sour grassy notes upfront. Some skunked citrus and super-skunked bready, cereal grain at the finish. Ultra-carbonated. Did I forget to mention all the corn accents - well itís there in spades. Double hopped with Cascades???? Did they put 2 hop pellets in their 5000bbl batch as opposed to the standard 4 and call it íDouble Hopped" or are they using their labels as a retarded joke forum like Laffy Taffy

Pale, foamy, looks and smells like skunked Heineken. Hints of paperclip and armpit. This is the worst of the bunch, a true drain pour.

Bottle. "Double hopped"!? With Cascade?!? WTF? I donít want to waste precious seconds off my life even responding to such ridiculous bullshit. This is a pale lager, and a pretty shitty one at that. Like every other Weinhard piss juice. FAIL.

This is the probably the blandest pale ale Iíve ever tried. I guess you get what you pay for.

Bought and drunk only for a friend. Slightly better than most domestics, but only slight. Pale, bland.
