COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light-bodied, full-flavored unfiltered beer brewed in the tradition of European wheat beers. Wheat malt, the finest barley and Roasted Caramel malts are combined with Pacific Northwest Cascade hops and a touch of pure honey for a wheat beer with a smooth, crisp finish.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2009 Other than looking like a good hefe there is little good about this. Very wheaty, some Bud-like funk. Untasty. First had this beer in 2003 and scored it a 3.7 Musty orange-brown. Definetely the best wheat beer I’ve had. Doesn’t upset my stomach like other wheat beers. Would get again.

Slightly brownish orange liquid with quick fading head, mellowed citric aroma, slightly tart, medium-heavy carbonation, a light easy finish. This a drinkable, light flavor/aroma brew. Not bad.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2005 Very light haze, average head and lacing. In the nose there’s adjuncts, light wheat, barely any hops. They’re ripping off the hefeweizen name and the reinheinspebot law is spewing up distaste. Way downhill since the last time I had this.

12oz bottle from a mix case. It’s light and wheaty with no clove lemon or banana. These American weizen beers make me sad, this style can be great if well done.

Every Weinhard beer tastes almost the same to me. Not enough differentiation between similar styles.

Bottle. Wow, this is SHITTY! Nothing hefe-ish about this beer at all. It stinks, and it has no yeast-driven character whatsoever. Not a hefe. So let’s back off a minute and forgive the mis-labelling. How does it do compared to other "Ämerican"style wheats? Yep, STILL SHITTY! Too sweet, and bland. Full Sail should put a bullet in this brewery. It has produced nothing but garbage in my experience.

The only hefe I’ve had that’s even worse than Widmer. One Valentine’s Day I drank this beer and it made me immediately throw up. Of course I blame this beer and not the rather large number of shots I had earlier that night!
