COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Pale Lager, Henry Weinhard’s Private Reserve blends Henry’s German heritage with the natural ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. If you want to impress your friends, you can say it’s brewed with 100% Cascade hops specially grown in Oregon. But all you really need to know is that it’s crisp, clean and one helluva beer.

You can’t go wrong with this, especially at such an affordable price. A great beer to say the least.

The price is the one which makes this beer enjoyable. Otherwise pretty average Lager with a light hoppy flavor to it.

Exceptionally cheap for the quality, this beer is quite drinkable. Nice subtle hoppiness and a balance of malt. An easy beer to drink and a great buy for the budget-minded boozer.

I like it. It is an above average beer, at a good price. Perfect for kicking back and watching a game. This beer isn’t going to win any awards, but for the price, you’ll be challenged to find anything better.

This was one of the first widely distributed better lagers out there. A good effort with noticable hops and richer malt flavors than ordinary American pilsner style beers. This is one of the beers that got me interested in better beers a very long time ago. Still a pretty good pour. I’m just sad that it’s in the hands of Miller now and that the Blitz-Weinhard plant in Portland is gone. Sad, very sad.

Not bad, but nothing too special about this brew. My neighbor threw one my way last night. It is a beer you could down several of during a football game.

My dad considers this ’craft brew’.
