A little grain or hops initial tasting...not real pleasant but not bad either. Just your generic beer but something my dad or his friends from the 60ís would be satified with (think Falls City).

Sweet, lightly toasty malt aroma. A hint of citrus, and a little dusty. Light caramel/sweet malt aroma, with bread crust/biscuit. Citrus, subtle sulfur/vegetable lager yeast. Sweeter in the finish.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a yellow color with a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within about twenty seconds. There was barely any lacing and what there was of it just slid right on into the beer. The smell had a weird burnt bready / burnt caramel notes to it. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with not much sessionability about it as Iím getting a weird cardboard - ness rolling over my tongue. Overall, I canít say Iíd try this again.

Clear yellow pour with white head. Aroma is grainy. Taste follows nose. Good mowing the lawn beet. Not good for much else.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 Bottle. A- Cereal, citrus, wheat. A- Golden color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Cereal, watery, malty, citrus, wheat, slightly sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- Just like a glorified Bud Light. A decent beer with a little bit of flavor but still lacking a lot of qualities. Drinkable nonetheless.

On the deck in Kaneohe Oahu. Thanks to the last guest for leaving us leftover brews. What a view but not much of a beer.

Bottle. Clear light orange pour with a quickly dissipating head. Mostly a thinner palate, somewhat bland lager, but it has a little character that sets it above BMC. Not bad for what it is.

For the style, this isnít half bad. Basically, this ends up being a more expensive version of the brand name lagers you see everywhere. It does this while pretending to be a craft beer. I get that. The Cascade hops give this beer a spicy, fresh bite, though. So yes, itís a lot like all the other draft lagers. This one just has a bit more going for it.

For a mass-produced pale lager this is not that bad. If you want something easy to drink on a summer day, this would fit the bill. Itís not offensive in any way and has a refreshing taste to it. However, I tried the Weinhards IPA first, which I thought was pretty good, and I was expecting the same quality. I was somewhat dissapointed.

Bottle. The look is clear, very light yellow colored, and light white colored head. The smell is fruity, malt, bread, just egh. The taste is malts, blah, bread, grain, and banana.
