golden pour with a small layer of frothy head. Aroma of bready yeast and a light fruity smell. Very crisp with an initial sweet punch almost like a tart strawberry/fresh pineapple (followed by bready/yeasty lingering aftertaste. Probably a pretty good beer but I am not a big Kolsch fan.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Probably one of the better batches to come out of the Weinhards’ brand as of recently. Bottle... Poured golden with a frothy, white head. Aroma wasn’t much, cracker-like malts and light fruits. Crisp and refreshing with a light palate and a balanced carbonation. A little bit of hops but mainly just crisp barley-malts for a smooth, bread-like finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 12, 2009 New Summer seasonal ( different from the old Summer WHEAT ale).
In appearance, pale golden with nice sized pure white head.
Aroma very doughy, bread, some hop presence.
Nice tasty bready malts , some under tones of hop. Nice after taste.
Nice body on this .
Overall a nice interpretation for Henry’s.
Good drinking in the Oregon summer to come.
