COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our newest seasonal, Summer Ale, is inspired by the full-bodied Kolsch beers of Cologne, Germany, known for their blonde color and smooth taste.

2009 Bottle - Not sure if this should be merged with the Summer Wheat, but oh well...pours a haxy golden with a medium white head...aroma is citric and grainy, lemon and malt with some raw graininess...flavour is similar, clean and bright, bready grain and malt with some lemon and dirt...tasty

Light malt, corn, distant hops. feels a little flat in the mouth. clear yellow with a quick white head. flavors of lemon-y hops, white bread. clean and not too clingy.

12oz bottle: Apperance is golden brown with slow fading white head, aroma is just slightly malty, flavor has a hint of hops along with some slightly stale pale malt.

golden pour with a small layer of frothy head. Aroma of bready yeast and a light fruity smell. Very crisp with an initial sweet punch almost like a tart strawberry/fresh pineapple (followed by bready/yeasty lingering aftertaste. Probably a pretty good beer but I am not a big Kolsch fan.
