COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Henry Weinhard's Summer Wheat Ale is brewed in Hood River, OR using locally grown Cascade Hops, roasted caramel malt and a touch of coriander and orange peel. The result is a crisp and refreshing filtered wheat ale with a hint of citrus spice and a clean, smooth finish

Some wrote they íalmost always add lemoní to their beer but didnít need to with this one. well i can understand why, itís got a massive ílemon cool-aidí flavor on attack. and i guess if thatís your thing then this is your beer. As for me no thanks. it was free and I still didnít finish it. :(

Piss yellow pour with no head or lacing. Smells like yeast and wheat with light citrus hops and a tad bit of malt. Tastes like a Kansas wheat field with an odd spiciness that I canít put a finger on. Not something I want again.

Great concept, but falls short. Seems like this brew wants to be Blue Moon, but needs to go back to the drawing board.

Horrible offering from Henryís. The orange flavor is overwhelming and does not mix well with the carbonation. It feels like drinking a moldy orange in tonic water. Steer clear of this monster.

Sure this used to be a great brewery, but this ale is pretty bland even for a summer.
