3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very average ipa. Had this on tap, nice initial flavor but finish was very weak. Thin palate and watery feel.. I’d pittas on this one.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Was excited to see a new brew at my local grocery story. Unfortunately, this one is wholly underwhelming. Pours a crystal clear golden with a small but resilient white head. Soft small bubbled carbonation. Aroma shown some west coast hops, but they are muted and not bright. Medium bodied, there is is a nice light caramel malt in there, but there is far too little of it. Hop bitterness is fairly low for an IPA. Ends with a sloppy minty fade.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Wilmington Island, Ga - Kroger Supermarket - 12 oz bottle. Light copper pour, thin white head. Aroma is pretty much neutral, faint metallic industrial aromas. Flavor is standard budget IPA, some nuttiness, a bit of hard candy sweetness. some breadiness, a faint trace of citrus bitterness. Mouthfeel is thick enough, Not writing home about this one.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Taste is metallic, has a bit of a hoppy bite but overall it’s watery and pretty awful. Has a hoppy finish, but ever so slightly. Mediocre beer. How the hell does no one know what the abv for this is? Like, do these guys get the primary point of drinking? Ridiculous.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pint on draft at Flipdaddy’s. Clear yellow orange color. Good thin off-white head. Good lace. Flavor is pretty mild for an IPA. More like a moderately hoppy pale ale, with a weak malt back bone. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Decent bitterness. OK, but weak for an IPA

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark orange with about a finger of white head. Aroma of very light citrus and floral hops with a hint of caramel. Taste is lightly bitter. Pine and citrus with a little caramel on the end. Light bodied with a slightly thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. Nothing to write home about but a great intro to craft and especially the IPA style.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very lightly sweet, slightly hoppy aroma. Bright, clear golden ale with a short beady head. Standard (twistoff) US longneck, bad label, good logo cap. More of an APA. A little unpleasant lemon pith flavor, but generally decent - mild but noticable hopping, moderately sweet, gel flavors. Medium body, a little astringent. Don’t go out of your way for this one, but don’t hesitate to take one out of your buddy’s tailgate cooler either. Publix, Thomasville & I-10, singles only apparently.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is piney hops. Pretty light body, piney hops, caramel malts, little bit of spiceyness and a bit of skunkyness (may be old). Slightly below average IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours clear dark straw with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, tannins, mild fruit. Tastes of hops, mild ale and bitter malt and hop profile, and a pilsy, somewhat watery finish. OK, but not great.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
10/16/12. 12oz bottle from... Wal-Mart! A tick at Wal-Mart for $7 per six-pack? Dr. Owl is on the case! Amber pour with a small khaki head that fades. Light aroma with grains, caramel, and light, dingy, earthy hops. Slightly brighter flavor with more dingy, soapy hops, but a touch of citrus as well, on top of light grains and caramel. Eh.
