COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally developed for British sailors stationed in India, IPAs were aggressively hopped to help prevent spoilage on long ocean voyages. Now that spoilage isnít as big a problem, weíve eased up on the hoppiness just a hair to let the caramel malts shine through. Itís a big beer with big flavor that really lets you appreciate hops in all their glory.

Amber brew with decent white head that died off quickly. Smells of light floral hops. Tastes of floral hops with some notes of the malts. Not enough hops to be a real IPA, more of a APA. Overall a decent brew.

Bottle at Chelsea piers for some midday bowling. Horribly priced but thatís not breweries fault. Nose of sour hops and some ligt citrus. Tastes slightly dank, some wood, lemons, pine, vanilla. Not all that fresh tasting

Bottle; poured a copper color. Aroma of grapefruit, flowers and perfume. an ok aroma, but a bit too perfume like for me. Taste was a bit all over the place and somewhat strange. Pretty robust, but not a lot of quality flavor. Some of that perfume like quality in there. not as bad as expected, but hardly great

It doesnít smell like most IPAís. It has a slightly skunky smell to it. The head is weak and disappeared quickly. It is a light golden, lighter than most IPAís that Iíve had. The spices and taste are weak as it tastes more like a lager weak lager. Although not terrible, it is disappointing coming from an IPA.

Another great IPA! I've not found one I've yet to enjoy. This is the first I've tried from this brewery and I'll definitely go back for more! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is earthy, floral, slightly skunky, caramely, bready. The flavor is bready, skunky, floral, woody. This sucks, it has harsh bitterness, watery thin, grain astringency. This is also the 4% version. Footbalmed.

Nice refreshing little IPA. Pours an amber color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. taste is mildly hoppy and barely passes in my book for an IPA.

Bottle. Light to moderate grain and cereal for the malt, light herbs for the hops, faint soap for the yeast, with a hint of wood in the background. Head is average size, creamy, white, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is slightly hazy yet quite sparkling. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes faintly acidic and has a fairly long light to moderate bitterness. Palate is medium, watery with a carbonation between soft and lively. Not such a great IPA, but itís still an okay drinking beer.

Draft at Fado. Top of a keg. Poured a mostly clear medium orange amber. Large off-white head quickly reduced to a foam ring. Looks ok but tastes dreadful. Earthy woody mix of hops that does not work for me. An ascetic wheat aroma. More flavor than most commercial IPAs but no complexity.
