COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Generally available fitered in bottle.
Formerly sold as Beer Station Cool Blonde.
Blonde is a totally organic lager: just pure blonde beer from organically produced malt - no additives; no preservatives. The organically grown "Hallertau" hops deliver a floral note to the brew, and the purity of the flavour is protected by meticulous cold filtration. This is a long, powerful brew with a firm body and a luxuriant head.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes simply as "Hepworth Blonde" - nothing cool here. Unclear, pale golden with a small, white head. Lightly tart nose. Medium body with a marked malty sweetness and some lightly fruity notes. Almost no hops in the finish. Soft and smooth with a high drinkabilitry. 290106

Bottle, 33cl. Pours a golden colour, with a short-lived head. No real aroma, but the taste is clean with a long dry finish. Not a bad beer.

Cask @ pub, Brighton. Yellow colour, white head. Medium carbonated. Lager malts in nose. Flavour is hoppy and malty. Refreshing.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy gplden with next to no head and there are steady bubbles. The nose has pale malt and toffee. The taste has pale malt and honey. The palate is medium textured and structured and alhough very drinkable, it is not as fresh on the end as preferred.Overall, pretty average.

330ml bottle from Budgens, Belsize Park. Pours amber with no head and light carbonation; grassy hop aroma; predominantly malty flavour; with a sweet finish that has some damp cardboard and unappealing hops. Not good.

Bottle from no* 78. Aroma is caramel and slightly skunky grassy hop. Taste is sweet caramel, hints of wychwood burnt toast character. Mouthfeel would tell me this is actually an alright golden ale, as its not very carbonated at all, but taste is disapointing.

Was expecting great things from this beer, being from the Hepworth Brewery. I didn’t detect much of an aroma, colour was typical golden hue, taste and palate was a bizarre experience - first buzz of a typical pilsener and then nothing, no lingering aftertaste. Frankly quite disappointing

An attractive 660ml clear glass bottle. Aroma has that peaty quality that Wychwood beers have. Flavour has a little plastic twang. Sharp carbonation. Doesn’t come over as fresh or fragrant in the way I appreciate blonde beers.

Big, bright cereally amber with a fizzy short lived white head. Lemony nose with hints of yeast. A little cereal tinge along with some lemon flavours. Quite bland though. Weak and watery. Really not sure about this at all, if you are going to make an organic lager, make a good one.

Med yellow, pretty clear, no bubbles nose is vegetable and toffee malt thin body and faintly fizzy not very nice. a bit skunky. tastes a bit like an asian broth soup.
