0.5L bottle from Ex Cellar, Fulham as Hepworth Vintage Noël Christmas Beer. Low gray-shaded blond head. Clear orangey amber body. Sugary aroma of honey, toffee, roasted nuts and alcohol-soaked yellow fruits. Substantially sweet malt flavor. Nuts and biscuits, toffee and fruit-cocktail. Carefully hopped, some bittering is noticable. Oily texture, bordering on sticky. Quite full. Sweet malty and fruity ending.

500ml bottle, drunk on 4 December 2010. Bottled on 5 October 2010. Best before October 2015. Reddish amber colour. Good condition. Quite fruity aroma. A little hot alcohol. Some herbal bitterness on the palate. Fairly sweet. Pleasant enough but not as impressive as the previous Hepworth Christmas Ale. Probably a bit too young though. Flagged for re-rate if possible, with more bottled age
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 madmitch76 (6193) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2011
29th January 2011 Clear amber beer, little suddy white head. Sweet fruits and malt nose. Semi dry and semi crisp palate. Lagerish malt but sweeter. Sweet dried fruits with a touch of marmalade. The malt turns a little bit creamy. Finishes with more dried fruits. A tad over dry but a sweet drinkable X-mas beer.
