50cl bottle picked in Eastbourne. Finally tracked this down after month’s of looking. It’s bottle conditioned, so it’s a slightly hazy straw colour with a loose cream head; grainy citrus aroma - much like a German pilsner; it’s soft, sweet, and grainy in the mouth; before a pleasant citrusy bitterness to finish.

BC from the Wine Cellar, Lutterworth. Good continental aroma; chick pea, lemon and honey, pine sap. Pours dusty gold with a hissing head of froth. Soapy and fresh with spruce, honey and wafers. Lingering soap and rich tea biscuit finish. Good stuff.

Cask at the King’s Head, Lewes, 16th July 2010. Clear golden amber, small lacy white head. Lemon and musty malt nose and flavour but a bit soapy and lacking bite or lasting dryness. Oxidised.

Cask conditioned handpump Earth & Stars Brighton. A darkish blonde coloured beer with a white head. There are citrussy hoppy notes in the aroma leading to a chewy fruity taste. The hops are decent and fruity but it seemed to be shallowing.

Bottle conditioned organic pale ale. Well carbonated and poured a golden amber colour with a large white head. In the mouth hops were dominant with a strong citrus flavour and malt in the background. A very palatable golden type ale.

Cask handpump at GBBF 2009. Red-amber with a good head. Rotten vegetable scent. Thinish. Quite sweet. Parsnip and carrot taste. Not nice.
