COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
Pullman is a first class bitter brewed with East Anglian malt and a special blend of Kent hops to give a crisp fresh bite balanace with a long silky finish. Long on flavour with a good hop nose, Pullman is a luxurious ale best appreciated on its own or with fine food.

Very honeyed aromas with hints of almond and walnut. In the mouth it has bright honey flavours and toffee apples, with a long finish of straw-like British hops. The finish lingers for a grand length of time.

Cask at the wenlock arms. Alround rating: Nutty, sweet malt character, grassy hay hop. A very straightforward bitter.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Golden brown with no head. Sweet fruity malt with a really pleasing burnt character. Late bitterness. Nice enough, just one dimensional.

A bitter that didn’t hold back on the bitterness, hops are present both in the aroma and the taste and all in all this was refreshing.

Half from gravicask at London Drinker BF 08. Dark golden body under a thin white head. Aromatic nuances of malts and fruity hops. Bitter fruit accented flavour followed by bready malts and nuts. Hop bitterness in a nice finish. Well made best bitter (evening session, 13.03.2008).

Very acceptable drinking bitter. Clean, crisp taste. Good session beer. Slightly high at 4.2% but definitely worth trying a pint or two!

A mid golden orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A biscuity malt nose, with a hoppy aroma. The taste is dry and malty, with a bitter, oily hop flavour that stays right through to the finish. (Bottle - courtesy of Edd @ The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk, who collected this, amongst others, during a trip to Horsham).

Cask, gravity dispense at Wallington BF. Gold with white head. Malty flavours and a long bitter finish. Just a touch green but pleasant enough

Poured from the bottle, a clear amber with a large frithy head that doesn’t stick around for long. A rich malty aroma, slightly floral. A creamy malty flavour at the front of the mouth, followed by a bitter hoppiness finish. Nothing special but a fair drop.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2010 Bottle from Tesco. Amber colour, quite rich in mouth bit creamy buttery (diacetyl?) Good solid tangy hop finish. Not bad. 3/6 Cask handpull at The Pullman, Folkestone. Deepish gold, lasting bubbly white head. Quite a nice bitter, some good yeast, very nice hop on finish. Biting. Moderate body with a surprisingly good bitterness on the finish.
