Pullman is a first class bitter brewed with East Anglian malt and a special blend of Kent hops to give a crisp fresh bite balanace with a long silky finish. Long on flavour with a good hop nose, Pullman is a luxurious ale best appreciated on its own or with fine food.

Very little aroma. Malt aroma is very faint and hop aroma even fainter. Golden color with moderate white head. Hop flavor is surprisingly strong considering there was very little aroma. More bitter than most English beers. Body is typical for the style. Overall decent enough, but not outstanding.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a transient white head. Nice floral aroma. Near medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is mild caramel malt with a floral, mild spice, aspect. It is nicely bitter. The spice aspect continues in the finish. It’s very nice.

Cask at Farnham Beerex 2010. Pours a slighty hazy amber colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma is nice with spicy, herbal, evergreen, a little yeast and good hop and malt. Flavor is much more dominated by the hop bitterness with the malt. Finish is fairly bitter.

bottle on 1/5/2010. orange iced tea color with short lived off white head which fades to remain as a film. woody and herbaceous nose with underlying notes of chocolate, toasted nuts, earth, caramel and malt. lots of dry earthy hops in the flavor... along with florals, orange, grain, woody spice, cooked peaches and de-sweetened caramel with a pleasantly bitter finish. the medium body is dry and crisp, earthy and easy drinking. 6/3/6/4/15/3.4

This was an exceptional English-style bitter. It pours an orange amber body with a dense, thick head. Surprisingly complex and pleasant bouqent of freshly milled grains, toasted malt, and fruity hops. Despite the thick head, this was quite smooth and had a body with low carboation. Excellent mult-grain bill malt profile with well-stated fruity hop flavors. A delicious malt masterpiece.

Orange-amber color with a definitive chill haze. Moderate Belgian lace. Modest head, even though the beer bubbled over when opened. Malty with oak undertones. Mild hop bitterness. Far more bitter than the smell would indicate. Dry finish with a lasting hop bite. Round mouthfeel with liberal carbonation. Surprisingly little malt flavor.
