From A Bottle.Amber brown in colour,small head,light citric aroma,taste is clean and slightly hoppy.
No flavours really stand out here,dry and bitter finish.

Sept, 2002: Bottle - Beer Station.This ’first class ale’ is a delicious beer with a strong hit of dark chocolate followed by a long smooth mouthful of malt, finishing with a long sigh of dry, flowery hops. An outstanding example of traditional British ale. [3.1]

I am not really fond of bitter beers but this one stands out. Nice head, nice bite and rather bitter aftertaste.
