Cask @ The Canton Arms, Stockwell. The pour’s light amber with a small white head. The aroma’s light caramel, some grain and grassy bitterness. The taste is general sweet malts, some orchard fruits and hints of leafy tobacco bitterness. Lightly dry finish. Smooth, light body. Nice, soft carbonation. Overall, fairly serviceable bitter. No surprises.

Draft (not cask) - Coachhouse Brighton. Golden bitter, crisp orange peel start, frothy mouthfeel lasts well past the initial taste. Malty Eisboch smell that is very strong. Great beer, while disappointed not on cask, tastes great on a warm summer day from the lager pump.

Mild oxidation notes in the aroma with caramel and bread. Pullman pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Some oxidation notes in the flavor, apple cider and stale bread. I don’t think it made the journey from England very well.
