From Skyview’s growler. Chocolate aroma. Bitter malt in the flavor, some chocolate taste. Fairly rich, some sediment. A good session beer, unusual at least.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler from Skyview. Dark brown color with no head. Very slight hop aroma. Interesting flavors... Some cherry and chocolate. Definitely sweet, but a mildly bitter finish. The hops are definitely meant as an accent, not to IPA levels.

On draught at the brewpub in Wausau, Wisconsin. Pours a clear dark cola brown brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin white ring and film top. Aroma of roasted dark malt, plenty of both grassy and citrus zest hops, plus a light apple skin character. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of roasted dark malt, some dark chocolate, apple skin, with a mild bitter character. Finish is slightly husky, some light chocolate aftertaste with a yeast and apple skin flavor that lingers around after the finish. An interesting beer for the romance in beer drinking.
