650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Black colour, large to moderate tan head. Pleasant and unusual aroma of lightly roasted hazelnuts, hints of chocolate and mild coffee. Medium dry flavour of roast malts and roast nuts, surprisingly little chocolate, more distinct coffee and bittering hops (33 IBU). Smooth and pleasant to drink.

1 pint 6 fl oz shared bottle at home from FirmaBier. Nose is dark roasted coffee, light smoke, old wood. Body nearly black, head is small, beige, creamy, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is mild coffee, dark chocolate, old wood, walnut, black tea. Light sweet, medium bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium to heavy bitter. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Easy dessert beer, tasty, great one.

Dark brown, just a bit of foam. Nutty cacao in the nose. "Kama" chocolate. Taste has some half roasted toffee elements, feeling some alcohol also which is not that great although it makes the body sort of feel stronger than it actually is. Alcohol and hop bitterness blends and coats the tongue. Hazelnuts are evident, both in the nose and also in taste - and in the burp. For some reason I am not the biggest fan, too nutty for me to want a full pint of this. I guess it’s not bad either.
