650 ml. bottled 05/26/2016. Pour is coal black with a ring and spots of foam. Nose is hazelnut, espresso, chocolate with touches of molasses and soy. Flavors of dark chocolate, hazelnut, dark toasted bread, molasses, coffee with cream and a hint of apple. Medium body is too fizzy but has a nice balance from several directions.

650ml bottle from Brewdog shop. Huge tan head settles quickly, minimal lacing. Nose is nutty chocolate, chocolate syrup, hints of coffee. Flavour is chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts, dark berries, slightly smoky. Bitter chocolate aftertaste lingers. Surprisingly high carbonation, jagged mouthfeel, clean finish, slightly dry. Seems to suffer a little from over carbonation, would love it on cask.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out cocoa notes upfront, with a touch of hazelnut and vanilla. Flavour is quite robust for a porter, with lots of cocoa upfront, followed by toasted hazelnuts and a touch of vanilla. Medium-bodied and wonderfully balanced. Really nice.
