[Bottle] Pours a jet black color with a frothy brown head on top. Foam calms to a nice ring around the glass. Heavy roasted malt aromas are mainly centered around chocolate. Lighter ash and vanilla notes as well in the nose. Flavors include semi-sweet chocolate, vanilla, hints of hazelnut, dry burnt grains, blonde roast coffee and brown sugar. More dry than creamy. Fairly low carbonation level. Tasty.

Bottle shared at the return of Old Spice tasting. Small sample. The aroma has hazul nuts, milk chocolate. Black coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste has chocolate and hazel nuts. Very smooth mouthfeel, low on carbonation. Very nicely done. Good idea, but not my thing.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with nice beige head. Aroma of caramel, hazelnuts, coffee. In taste medium sweet, nutty with roasty and medium bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth. Quite ok except the fact that hazelnut tastes a bit artificial.

Tap@Malmo Øl Festival, Malmo - dark brown verging black coloured pour with a off-white head. Toasty and light roasted malty aroma and taste, with caramel, toffee, fudge, nice hoppy backing, pretty decent overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I sat on this bottle too long before I drank it so it suffered some from age. But it was evident that a good beer was under there. We get this beer in MA now so I look forward to trying it on tap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: lots of hazelnut, nutella. Taste: the name says most of it: chocolate and cocoa, earthy, some coffee. Easy drinking, you don’t taste the alcohol. A bit of carbonic tartness. Actually quite good.
