On tap at the brewery. Dark brown, almost black, with a light tan head that quickly dissipated. Nose of chocolate and hazelnut, very nice! Smooth sweet taste, overall very good.

Draft @ Kings Arms, Bethnal Green E2. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with weak nutty hints. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Pours a deep brownish black from the bottle with thin ring of off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of big nut and chocolate. Taste is more of the roasty soy with nice background of nut and chocolate. Interesting, i wasn’t solve salt and could call it Nutella stout.

Bomber from Imbibe Wine. Nose is nutty, roast, chocolate, and a light coffee note. Clear dark brown with a big cinnamon head. Flavor is nuts, lightly bitter notes, and a hint of sweet chocolate.

bottle, from Bottle Revolution RDU. good aroma, sweet, roasty. chocolate and hazelnut mainly with a roast malt backbone. Blackish brown color, small head that faded quickly to a ring, little to no lace. sweet flavor. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, sweet finish. it’s nice, solid flavored porter. loses points on appearance and palate, but aroma and flavor are good,

Bomber. Smells of hazelnuts drenched in milk chocolate and roasted malts. Very velvety on the tongue, smooth overall. Lots of the same tones from the nose on the palate, yet more full on. Lots of sweet roast on the finish. Lingers. Pretty good.

Nowhere near an elite porter but certainly a very solid one. Hazelnut comes through more in the taste than in the aroma. Lingering hazelnut is quite nice but the other flavors aren’t great.

Off a tap at the Hop Yard. Pours very dark brown with a minimal head. Coffee hazelnut aroma. Taste is chocolate, nuts and roasted malts. Active mouthfeel and some porter milky sourness. Excellent off the pour but a bit less distinctive and flavorful with warming. Still, an excellent beer.

Bottle: Dark dark brown, topped with a creamy brown head. Nose is inviting with chocolate, roast, and nuts. Consistent through the taste. The level of quality chocolate taste is impressive... not too sweet with the nuts and roast involved. Solid flavors. Good stuff.

Scent was nutty but sugary. Light top medium body. Chocolate flavor is a little syrupy. Deep coloring. Low carbonation. Would taste best after some warming.

Poured from the bomber into an English pint glass. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet with lots of chocolate, some hazelnut and vanilla. Flavor has a lot of chocolate and hazelnut as well as some smoky notes. Medium bodied with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Overall pretty good.
