On tap at the brewery. Dark brown, almost black, with a light tan head that quickly dissipated. Nose of chocolate and hazelnut, very nice! Smooth sweet taste, overall very good.

This is certainly a top notch porter. Very rich and full bodied. The hazelnut is appropriately balanced but prominent. From BevMo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Pours Black with tan head. Aroma is sweet hazelnut and chocolate with a hint of peanut butter. Taste is hazelnut chocolate just as described. Pretty good. The only chocolate hazelnut beer i’ve had.

Pours jet black with a tan head that dissipates quickly. Nose is full of hazelnuts with chocolate and caramel notes. Taste is very hazelnut forward, back end following through with some mild caramel and toasted malts to finish. Quite high in carbonation for the style and a thin mouthfeel. Nice but not my cup of tea.

Pours a very dark brown with a short, nougat colored head. Dark roasted coffee and roasted nuts. A bit watery on the palate. Very dark roasted malt is most prominent in the first few sips. Hazelnut becomes more abundant after that. Some instant cocoa mix flavor. Quite a bit of coffee.

Bottle shared at the return of Old Spice tasting. Small sample. The aroma has hazul nuts, milk chocolate. Black coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste has chocolate and hazel nuts. Very smooth mouthfeel, low on carbonation. Very nicely done. Good idea, but not my thing.

Sample from big bottle at Växjö Ölfestival, thanks DM! Near black with off white head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, slight caramel and some burnt notes. Taste is smooth, on the dry side, roasted malt, chocolate and toffee.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with nice beige head. Aroma of caramel, hazelnuts, coffee. In taste medium sweet, nutty with roasty and medium bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth. Quite ok except the fact that hazelnut tastes a bit artificial.

Bomber from de Bierkoning (bottled 07/27/15). Color is as good as black. Light brown head with a thin layer retention. Strong hazelnut aroma, some roast (ground coffee), light sweet. Hazelnuts and fruit retronasal. Flavor is light to moderate sweet, nutty, chocolate-y, light fruity sourness. Body is on the thin side. Finishes nutty and roasted medium bitter.
