COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Evil Cousin is Heretic’s take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who can’t get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Fra fat på Ølbaren i Elmegade: en nydelig balansert apa (8%) med dominans av grapefrukt. Smaskegod!

Draught at Ørsted Ølbar. Hazy orange with a small white head. Well tuned aroma with piney, resiny and light citrysy hops plus hints of caramel malts. Sweet malty flavor with a smooth yet bitter mostly herbal hop finish. Medium bitter, extremely well balanced.

Aroma is fresh and filled with herby/earthy hops and some bread/yeast. Pours a decent pale gold with a medium sized foam. Flavors are dough, hay and bread upfront with a decent hop bitterness. Its a little watery tasting and not very full flavored. Overall, this is a decent IPA at best, it tastes very watered down and theres not a whole lot going on flavorwise. I’d give this a D+ rating.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Big tropical fruit hop notes. Dry and easy drinking. Grainy malt character. A tasty IIPA.

Good aroma, you can smell the hops trying to escape. Surprisingly firm and foamy head will stick around until the beer is gone. Monster hops, but the minimal malt balance is just right, doesn't fight the bitterness, but adds some complexity to the flavor and takes a tooth or two off the hops bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Fairly clear golden amber pour with a lasting foamy off-white head. Aroma is definitely hoppy, but not aggressively so. It has pine and citrus notes and is spicy and floral with a hint of funk. Flavour pretty much mirrors the aroma with spicy, floral and funky hints creeping in around the notes of grapefruit, lemon, pine, mint and caramel. Mouthfeel is sticky but also quite dry with moderate carbonation and a long bitter finish. A little different to most of the IIPAs I have tried in that the hoppiness is somewhat subdued and the hint of funkiness almost gives it a Belgian quality. Very nice all the same and rather compelling.

Good size lasting head on a orangey golden body. Hops only on the nose with the same coming through in the taste, bitter and drinkable, medium body, straightforward and almost quaffable.

650mL bottle, pours clear copper with a lasting white head and nice carbonation. Aroma is sweet candy grapefruit and slight doughy note? First up in the flavour is a big bitter hit then resinous hops. After they cool down its grapefruit, grapefruit, grapefruit wow!! very nice beer and very drinkable.
