4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Tap25 in Livermore, CA (at least 3 visits). Clear, golden, nice-looking beer. Smells piney and sweet - a great combo. Tastes the way you’d want a DIPA to taste like - citrus, pine, sweetness, hoppy and bitter finish. Medium body with some above average carbonation. One of the better hoppy ones but at 8.0% and compared to fav Pliny the Elder...it comes up a bit short.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle, sent from Neillago (thanks a lot, Neil), pours a hazy orange amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out strong dank hops, earthy, a little herbal notes, and just enough malt to back. Flavour destroys the palate, with intensely strong hempy, pot-like hops, more pot, and some earthy malt to back. Extremely brutal and uncompromising on the palate. Hoppy as hell, leaving a very dank finish. Excellent stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not a shy beer... Concentrated aromas and flavors of dried mangos, peach juice, tropical fruit, pine, herbs and bitter orange citrus... Solid bitterness, that is partially cut by a mild, malty sweetness on the mid-palate. Enjoyable bitter pine/citrus/herb nuances linger on the finish. Overall a solid beer. More rich, tropical/mango/peach layers then other SF Bay DIPA's. I would drink again..

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Fiery amber, moderate white frothy head, nice lacing.   That is weird, its like a hoppy pepperoni aroma.   Yeah, hoppy spicy pepperoni.   While not great for a beer, its like I want to take a bite out of
it or something.   Really weird hoppy flavor up front, a little dank, somewhat vegetable like, with a bit of that spicy pepperoni.   Does at least have a bit more citrus peel and pith on the backside.   Moderate body and
mouthfeel.   Not overly hoppy, or overly malty, which makes me wonder why or how this is an Imperial IPA.   Finishes with wet/dank hoppy profile, a little citrus peel and pith, and a slight vegetal aspect.   Not a real big

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden yellow with thick fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet bready malt and piny hops. Taste is dank resinous pine with grapefruit citrus on the follow through with a decent malty backbone. Aftertaste is lingering bitter citrus and pine. Palate is sticky resin. Overall nice hop bomb that lingers nicely.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From bottle to tulip glass. Grassy, dank and resinous on the initial aroma. Some slight, sweet grain in the backgound. Beautiful, clear old gold with an off-white head that initially billows with mixed sized bubbles. A little soapy looking. Taste is grassy hops with massive bitterness. Some pine and resin. Sweet malt near the end in moderate amounts. Finishes dry.
