3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Citrusy, resiny hop aroma with light grassiness, biscuity malt with some caramel. Gold, off white head. Flavor of biscuity malt, resiny hops with some grassiness again, but pleasant. Nice lingering bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great use of hops...and they add them by the ton. While the aroma is amazing, the lightness of the beer is a bit off for a DIPA. The ABV is completely unnoticeable - to the point that there should be more. The hop flavor doesnít just stand infront of the malt flavor, it fully eclipses it. I would have preferred there to be a bit more malt in there...not to mute the hops, but to give it more of a appearance, palate, and abv backbone. A great NorCal hop bomb.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the Cask, Pimlico - 19/10/12.
Lightly hazed amber with a big white head - good lacing ensues.
Big pine nose backed up by sweet malt, some nuttiness, pumpkin and spice.
Pine forward flavour, very bitter grapefruit, a little wood and other citrus tones.
Fuller end of medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish.
Drinkable DIPA but certainly no íwowí factor to this one!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Craft Beer Co - thanks for sharing, Benji! Nice to see this West Coast monster on offer over here, and the face-wrecking dankness certainly contrasted potently with a lot of what I was enjoying during my visit. Big sticky orange pour, heavy lacing, and hugely pungent aroma. Some sticky malts underlaying things, but there was a nicely light - at times even graceful - fruitiness to it that kept things from being especially heavy or syrupy. Backed up by a nice bitter finish, this was a nice West Coast hop bomb.

Poured from a bomber. Cloudy orange pour with sticky and foamy head. Huge floral and citrus nose. Dry and hoppy. Grapefruit pine and bitter. As good as they come. Love it

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours copper with ruby hue. Aroma is deep crystal malt, maybe Amarillo hops but very sweet. Taste has the distinct peppery flavour of a saaz type hops at the middle of the tongue, bitter hops at the rear and sweet wort all the way. Hops may be a little overpowering but itís borderline. Perfect for hop heads

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours hazy straw gold with nice off white head and decent lace. Aromas of pine and citrus among a light caramel malt character. Light-medium body, medium carbonation - nice big bitterness and piney grapefruit hop flavour. Malt takes a back step. Finish has a piney grapefruit flavour and bitterness linger with a touch of malt sweetness. A bit semi-sweet at first but a touch dry and mineral on the palate.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
I knew while pouring this beer that I would like it. Hops filled the room and you could see from its rich golden colour that it was going to be pleasing on the palate. Not as sweet as I thought it was going to be and was quite dry hopped.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
65cl bottle in San Diego. Pours hazy orange with an initial huge, creamy head, and it sticks around afterwards. Aroma is of significant resiny and citrus hops, sweet crystal malt, and hints of tropical fruit (mangos). Flavor is more appealing in that it lacks the sweetness I feared from the aroma. Instead, the resiny hops immediately take over my palate followed quickly by citrus flavors. Iím impressed by its deceptiveness. As the commercial description claims, it really is a hop monster and itís an easy drinker (not to be confused as a session beer, by any means!). The carbonation is medium high, a bit high for style, yet itís necessary to keep the balance for what this beer is intended to be. Some alcohol warmth but it doesnít get in the way at all. Medium to med-full body. Iím very, very impressed. I wish we could get this in NC! Are you listening, Jamil?!
