Evil Cousin is Hereticís take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who canít get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Medium offwhite head doesnít last. Clear still deep yellow body. Tropical fruit and pineapple aroma with alcoholic notes. Sweetish toffee and tropical fruit taste with pineapple notes. Fullish body. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish resiny tropical fruit aftertaste with grassy spicy floral notes. Decent malt base, and clear, vivid hop flavours on top. Balanced and drinkable. (0.355l can, not sure where from.)

650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and piney American hops - notes of tropical fruits, citrus and pine needles. Lots of fruit, pine needles and resin in the slightly sweet flavour too. Bitter finish, very bitter aftertaste.

33cl can. Pine resin and citrus on the nose. Pours a pale golden colour with a tightly packed white head. On the palate, the hop flavours are balanced with a clean malt backbone and an assertive but well rounded bitterness. Perfectly balanced. Dangerous at 8%. Phenomenal.

Poured a clear to slightly hazy golden amber with a two- to three-finger bright white frothy head that retained very well and laced Ok in rings. Carbonation soft, light to moderate, with fine to medium sized bubbles. Aroma is pleasantly of moderately strong pine, subtle citrus and a hint of passionfruit; no obvious alcohol. Taste of moderate pine bitterness, slight lemon citrus, possible tropical fruits, moderately sweet pale malt and a bit of alcohol burn on the after-taste. Light to medium body. Crisp with a lingering moderately strong pine bitter finish with an alcohol after-taste. Nice, but not as nice as Evil Twin.
