4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A - Pours a almost clear copper orange with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down at a very slow pace leaving behind some good lace.
S - Aroma is full of lots of citrus hops and grapefruit with some pine and some sweet caramel and biscuit malt.
T - Starts off with some strong citrus and candied grapefruit hops with some strong bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle some resiny pine hop comes through with some more bitterness and some biscuit malt. The finish is a mix of candied grapefruit hops and pine hops with some sweet malts and bitterness lingering.
M - Medium full bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a bitter and dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Really big DIPA with tons of hops. Nice hop profile, with strong bitterness throughout.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2012 Bomber. Cloudy orangish pour, large sticky white head. Piney, dank, and semi sweet aroma. Flavor is citrusy, orange peel, sweet caramel, grain, and dank hops. A balanced DIPA not over the top in any direction. Nice fresh hopiness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Somewhat buttery; slightly burnt; citrus with rind; a bit grainy. I mean, these strong IPAs like this are kinda expected now. So, you either like it or you donít; but because of time and how style is like fashion, it just doesnít amaze me. (I donít understand how something that is big, sticky, and aggressive is also light, easy drinking?)

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle. Rating #37. Light haze, dark orange with some copper mixed in, nice off-white head with some nice lacing. Sweet grapefruit aroma, nice amount of citrus overall. Flavor is similar to the aroma, nice bitterness, above average and it lingers for a good while. Nice stuff. (2232)

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a golden orange with little to no head. Absolutely no lacing. Iím not picking up much in the aroma, a little hopiness, but not much. Taste is pine, resin, with a medium bitter finish. Not much malt apparent, which is how I like my IPAs. Overall, pretty good beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bottle- Pours semi cloudy orange with a nice rocky ice cream bone white three finger head and nice spiderweb lace. Aroma is pungent resinous piney hops, spicy. The taste is whoa, resin hops, pot comes to mind, only more refreshing, it has a sweet syrupy taste to combat all those hops, but I would not call this malty, this is all about the hops, the beer is light and refreshing, tangy, sticky, as the description puts it, dank. Body is medium to light, which I kind of like, I could drink this all night, and carbonation is a little on the light side, especially for the style. Not for everyone, but If you are the type that likes your IPAís insanely hopped, resinous and tastes like fresh picked marijuana was dumped into the boil, this is the beer for you.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Evil Cousin pours a deep orange. Small white head is poured. No lacing.
Aroma on this one is decent. Slight tropical fruit aroma with more of a dank citrus smell. Not the best overall smell Iíve ever picked up from a DIPA but not bad.
Taste is decently hopped. More citrus than anything but not what I would call a Massively Hoppy Imperial IPA like the label says. I was expecting more of a West Coast IPA here but itís more balanced than anything. The aroma is by far more dank than the taste is. Piney hops show up more here and end with a nice bitter aftertaste. Alcohol shows from start to finish.
Medium bodied, dryness is left on the palette.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured up on tap at the Pleasanton Hopyard with clear copper body and gold edges as well as a nice looking white foam head that leaves behind some lacing. The aroma is spicy and sugary sweet malts and then quickly picks up thick citrus notes like tangelo and grapefruit and some clementine. The taste delivers a nice resiny hoppiness with grapefruit, tangelos and a touch of lime. To midway a bit of mango and spicy hops join in with resiny bitter pine hoppiness. Darn easy drinking and enjoyable IIPA.
