Clear medium to dark orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, orange - citrus, mango. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120509]

Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, straw, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, caramel sauce, lemons, and alfa acid, leading to a very bitter finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a white head. Intensely hoppy aroma, herbal bordering wild. Solid body, fruity and distinctly herbal - really appears as if spices or herbs are added, but it’s probably just the hops. Plenty of piney edges as well. Dry and hoppy finish without being overly bitter. 280412

Bottle @ The 5th Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg, 2012. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Orangey and zesty. Bitter hops. Really dry and bitter finish. Smooth.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Hazy copper color. Strange aroma: very rough hops, with some bitter oranges, hop resins, but also Munster cheese, sundried tomatoes, feet, vegetables; peculiar, chaotic, but original. The body is not too thick fortunately, the residial sweetness is well controlled; there is a strong flavor of caramel, with some toffee, strong hop resins, bitter oranges, and again that character of vegetables, tomato sauce and soup. Umami beer. Long final.
The peculiar side of this beer (probably coming from the hops and not from the fermentation) is actually quite original and appreciated; overall it’s balanced too.
Earthy and rustic.
At 40kr (7$) for 20cl, somebody is trying to justify fuel surcharge on transportation.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, caramel, earthy, flowers and malt. Nice and long bitter finish.

Bottle at Ølbutikken - shared with the Stormtroopers. Clear amber/golden – white head. Oiley hoppy, fruity, sweetness, toasted, knækbrød, lovely high bitterness, lovely, grape fruit, high hoppy, piney, resin. High bitter finish.
